Wolves, Birmingham City and Southampton are all showing interest in Tondela defender Brayan Medina.
The Colombian’s future could now be in English football, with the three Championship clubs considering moves before the transfer window closes.
Pipe Sierra brings the update from Colombia. He says all three sides have shown an interest in the 24-year-old.
More importantly, the clubs are described as being open to making a move during the final days of the window.

A defending powerhouse
Medina certainly has some characteristics which explain why the Championship clubs are looking his way.
The centre-back stands around 1.95m tall and is naturally left-footed. That combination alone makes him an interesting profile for clubs looking to strengthen the left side of their defence.
His physical game is also one of his main strengths. Medina has impressed in aerial and ground duels, while his tackling numbers underline the defensive side of his game.
He can also contribute when building from the back. That gives interested clubs a little more than simply a big defender to deal with crosses and physical forwards.
Late decision could be coming
For now, Sierra stops short of saying negotiations are underway with Tondela. There is also no mention of a bid or asking price.
What he does make clear is that Medina is attracting English interest and those involved haven’t ruled out acting on it.
For Wolves, the timing of the interest is worth watching. Yerson Mosquera recently suffered an ankle injury and is expected to spend several weeks on the sidelines. That leaves Wolves with an obvious reason to assess their defensive options before the window shuts.
Birmingham and Southampton provide competition if they decide Medina is worth pursuing.
With the window approaching its final stretch, this looks like one which could move quickly if one of the three clubs decides to take the next step.
