West Ham United are keen on signing Al-Nassr goalkeeper Bento in the winter market.
Earlier today, Gianluca Di Marzio reported Genoa are actively chasing the 26-year-old. He also explained they have made an official offer to try and get ahead of West Ham.
There was no mention of the details of the Serie A side’s proposal. Di Marzio now has a fresh report which provides the latest on West Ham and Genoa’s ongoing pursuit of Bento.
The journalist claims Genoa have made an offer to sign him on loan with an option to buy set at €5m.
West Ham are another club to have tabled an offer to the stopper. Di Marzio reports the Hammers have matched the transfer proposal submitted by the Italian club.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are, however, set for disappointment. That’s because the Brazilian is pushing for a move to the Serie A club over the Hammers.
After deciding between West Ham and Genoa, Bento will now convince the Saudi Arabian club. The report explains he’ll speak to Al-Nassr today, to reiterate his desire to leave them in the January window.
The Premier League side will have to look elsewhere if they still want to sign a stopper in this window.
