Arsenal continue to pursue Club Brugge’s Nicolò Tresoldi, after having him on their radar in the summer window.

The Premier League winners signed Christos Tzolis from the Belgian club in July and could raid them again next year for the striker.

Tresoldi’s rise and development haven’t gone unnoticed and Arsenal aren’t giving up just yet.

He joined Club Brugge from Hannover 96 in July 2025 and finished his debut season with 23 goals and nine assists from 53 matches. The attacker extended his fine form into this season, scoring nine goals from 13 matches so far.

Arsenal not giving up on Club Brugge star

He has several suitors in England, including the Gunners and Tottenham Hotspur. Last week, Sport Witness covered a report from Italy explaining that the north London rivals could compete for the 22-year-old.

Mikel Arteta’s side have had Nicolò Tresoldi on their agenda for a while. Sky Deutschland, after pointing it out, adds the Emirates club continue to follow him closely.

In fact, Arsenal are still ‘seriously interested’ in the Italy-born Germany U21 international.

Sources close to the frontman informed Sky he has no intention of changing clubs midway through the season. Therefore, a move in the winter market remains unlikely, while it can be a ‘more relevant’ topic next summer.

Club Brugge open for sale in 2027

In September, Club Brugge president Bart Verhaeghe revealed their agreement with him and Joaquin Seys to not sell in the last window.

He said: “That was the agreement. If they’re smart guys, they’ll look beyond the daily fluctuations of the transfer market. Last year, we also said that Tzolis had to stay. This summer, he was ready to go.”

Arsenal have already dealt with the Jupiler Pro League side for Christos Tzolis. These ties may benefit them during the potential negotiations with Club Brugge, provided Nicolò Tresoldi is open to joining them.

Sky states other unnamed clubs are keen on securing his services. Earlier this month, we relayed news from Belgium of Everton, Newcastle United and Leeds United’s interest.

Tresoldi’s contract runs down in 2029, and Transfermarkt value him at €35m. There has been a €26m rise since joining Club Brugge in July 2025.

With the growing list of suitors, the Belgian club are well positioned to demand more than €40m for the striker, to make him the new record sale.
