Galatasaray are continuing to knock on Tottenham Hotspur’s door before deadline day, this time for Mathys Tel.
Fanatik report that Galatasaray have accelerated their efforts to bolster their attacking line before the window shuts. And that’s seen them approach Spurs for Tel as a result.
The outlets states that Gala have made a loan offer for the 21-year-old. ‘All eyes are no on Tottenham’ to see what decision they make regarding the Frenchman.
Gala are continuing their work to increase their squad depth before the transfer window closes. They want to make a significant addition to their current options.
Mathys Tel targeted

Mathys Tel is the latest to emerge as a target for the Turkish club. Galatasaray’s management have initiated contact regarding the French player.
They value him highly as he can play on the wings and as a centre forward. They also like that he is young and still has potential to be developed.
The Super Lig side are currently exploring the term of a potential transfer. They are now waiting for a response from Tottenham to their loan bid.
When that arrives, the plan is to then hold talks with Mathys Tel’s camp to try and finalise a deal.
Would Tottenham sanction a loan?
The question is whether Tottenham will sanction a loan deal. Or, indeed, whether they will sanction any deal at all.
Mathys Tel has not lived up to expectations since originally joining on loan from Bayern Munich last year. That was made permanent in a €35m deal their initial €10m outlay.
A tally of seven goals and four assists in 60 games in that time certainly does not represent good value for money.
Indeed, Tottenham’s big spending on Savio and Omar Marmoush indicates that they believe they need more. Given the outlay, it seems unlikely that they will sanction a loan deal rather than trying to recoup what they’ve paid.
