Brighton & Hove Albion are now being mentioned as a potential destination for Loum Tchaouna.

With Salernitana about to be relegated to Serie B, Calcio Mercato feature a story about the 20-year-old, explaining he is one of the few positive assets the team had this season.

It’s said that with the decent performances he had, that could be enough to keep him in the top flight, whether it be in Italy or somewhere else.

That’s where Brighton are brought in, with the report claiming that the Seagulls ‘have their eyes’ on Tchaouna.

They’re not expected to be alone in this pursuit, though, with Calcio Mercato writing that several clubs have been sending scouts to watch the winger lately.

They all know how easy it would be to sign a player from a club who are facing relegation. In this special case, it’s said it would only take €8-10m to land Tchaouna, and that’s an ‘affordable sum’ for Brighton.

The story labels the potential move as a ‘personal salvation’ for the player, who has no guilt in Salernitana’s relegation.
