With Manchester City and the City Group making a big effort in recruiting young talents from around the world, it’s no longer a surprise to see that they have an agreement for another one.

Today the news come from Mexico, where ESPN reports that the Premier League champions have a pre-agreement for the signing of Alejandro Alcalá.

The 15-year-old, who has already trained at Barcelona’s and Manchester City’s facilities in the past, now has the chance to join the English club as soon as he turns 18.

The midfielder reportedly inspires himself in Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, and despite being born in the United States, he comes from a Mexican family and has been representing the Latin country in the U-15 and U-16 levels.

Alcalá currently plays for Los Angeles Galaxy’s youth ranks, but ESPN doesn’t make it clear if the English club would need to pay any financial compensation for the move.

If the deal does go through, Alcalá will end up being the latest in a long list of young players acquired from the Americas over the past few years.
