Sadio Mané is one of the key players who helped Liverpool challenge for silverware under Jürgen Klopp.
The Senegal international arrived at Anfield from Southampton in 2016, less than a year after the former Borussia Dortmund joined the Merseyside club.
Over the past few weeks, there have been claims of Real Madrid interest in the 28-year-old. L’Equipe explained on March 31st that Zinedine Zidane likes the Reds star a lot.
France Football have also taken a look at the situation.
It’s claimed the interest is mutual between the player and the La Liga side’s manager as the latter ‘clearly appreciates’ the winger. However, for a deal to take shape all conditions need to be fulfilled.
For now, FF states, a move to another English club has been ruled out for Mané. Paris Saint-Germain could view Mané as a replacement for Neymar or Kylian Mbappé, if either of the two decides to leave the Ligue 1 winners.
However, Mané’s ‘big dream’ is to join Real Madrid. It’s either them or nothing else as the Madrid based side are the only club that will convince him to leave Liverpool.
With a contract until 2023, Mané’s valuation, according to the report, is believed to be around €150m.
FF’s report comes days after Mané’s national teammate Keita Baldé suggested his compatriot will not be at Liverpool forever.
