Turkish newspaper Takvim report Aston Villa forward Trezeguet will consider his future at the end of the season.
It’s reported there are other clubs interested in Trezeguet along with Galatasaray, and subsequently the Turkish club will act quickly to sign the Egyptian if Aston Villa are relegated from the Premier League.
Takvim claim the 25 year old’s priority is to continue playing in England’s top division, but if he fails to do that then he could join Gala.
In recent weeks we’ve covered claims from the Turkish media which suggested Galatasaray and local rivals Besiktas are keen on signing the player during the next window.
After joining Dean Smith’s side from Kasimpasa for €10m, the attacker has had his moments, including scoring the winning goal against Leicester City that sent Villa to Wembley.
He’s made 31 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists. His contract will expire at the end of June 2023.
