Fotomac report Fenerbahce president Ali Koc has begun the operation to sign Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil, which could lead to the 31 year old leaving the Gunners at the end of the season.

It’s reported that Ali Koc and his close friends are in ‘constant’ contact with the Arsenal star and are trying to convince him over a move to Fenerbahce for next season.

The Turkish giants will reportedly offer the maximum amount of money they can to bring the player to Istanbul.

According to Fotomac, the Arsenal player is concentrating on spending time with his family and will decide his future when the pandemic is over.

It’s also claimed his wife is keen on returning to Turkey and that could reportedly play a huge part in Fenerbahce’s plans to sign Ozil.

The former Real Madrid midfielder has made 23 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side this season, scoring one goal.

His contract with the Gunners will expire at the end of June 2021.
