As German outlet BZ Berlin today shares an interesting story on some targets Hertha Berlin have for the summer, players from Norwich City and Nottingham Forest are mentioned.
The club are said to be focused on building a strong squad to get the promotion to the top flight next season, and already looking at some names to strengthen the team.
One of them is Nottingham Forest winger Josh Bowler, who’s been enjoying a loan spell at Cardiff City this season.
Since his contracts both with the Reds and the Canaries expire in the summer, he’s set to become a free agent, and is therefore a very achievable target for Hertha.
There then comes a name which is ‘ranked slight lower’ than the Nottingham Forest player, which is Norwich City’s Przemyslaw Placheta.
The 26-year-old is also out on loan, having a short spell at Swansea City until the end of the season, and could show up as an alternative in case the other options don’t work out.
It’s said it’d only take Hertha €1m to sign Placheta from Norwich City, and that seems about right, since the Canaries don’t seem keen to keep him.
