Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Matheus Nunes is not a part of Paris Saint Germain’s plans despite reports to the contrary.

That’s according to Le 10 Sport, who say the Portuguese midfielder is not part of Luis Campos’ plans as he rebuilds this summer.

A report earlier today explained that Campos has a close relationship with Jorge Mendes and that relationship has brought Nunes into the mix given his influence at Wolves and the fact he represents the Portugal international.

Le 10 completely disregard that, though, and say that while Nunes has the right profile to be on PSG’s radar, the fact is that he isn’t.

According to their information, PSG ‘did not check the name’ of the Wolves midfielder this summer as they plan various recruitment in the coming weeks.

All of PSG’s focus is currently on doing a deal for Ousmane Dembele, who is expected to arrive from Barcelona after they activated his release clause. The move for him has come about thanks to the complete refusal from Manchester City to sell Bernardo Silva.

There is no plan to move for Nunes, though, who hasn’t been profiled and isn’t a target despite reports saying otherwise.
