Juventus are set to make new moves to sign Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, according to claims from Italy.

The Old Lady’s interest in the 30-year-old has been repeatedly mentioned by the Italian media this summer, even though they never wanted to pay a big price for the signing.

A new update on this chase is today brought by Sky Italia, with them claiming Juventus are expected to make ‘new contact’ with Arsenal.

The Bianconeri are about to lose Denis Zakaria, and Franck Kessie, who was their main target, could head to Saudi Arabia.

That’s why signing Partey now becomes a bigger priority for them, and the next talks with the Gunners will show whether the operation is possible.

The Ghanian midfielder has a contract with Arsenal running until 2025, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €35m.

Given his important status in Mikel Arteta’s side last season, it’s hard to imagine the Gunners making his exit easy. Especially because previous reports said Juventus were offering just €18m for him, and that seems too low for this transfer.
