According to Turkish newspaper Vatan, Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic is expected to move to England, with Premier League sides showing a strong interest in the Serbian international.
The former QPR defender has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, with claims they are lining up a January bid for the 32 year old.
Vatan say the clubs who are interested in signing Tosic are ready to pay €3.5m, and that the Turkish champions could consider bids in this region. It’s also reported the Serbian is expected to return to England after previous spells with Portsmouth and QPR.
The Serbian defender was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur last month, with claims the Premier League side are lining up a bid for the player.
It’s been surprise Tottenham are weighing up an offer of €8m for Tosic, which is surprise given the player’s age. The latest statements of €3.5m sound more realistic, but a Tottenham move would still be hugely fortunate.
Tottenham have strength in depth in the defensive department and this doesn’t seem a priority of the London club.
