Everton winger Kevin Mirallas wants a return to Olympiacos this summer, reports Greek website Sdna.Gr.
Mirallas spent the second half of the season on loan with the Greek side, but was unable to make an impact in his second spell with the club.
Subsequently Olympiacos decided not to activate the €6m redemption clause they had on the Belgian and the player returned to Everton a few weeks ago.
Sdna say Mirallas still wants to play for Olympiacos next season and is hoping Everton can make this happen. The Belgian international is set for crunch talks with Everton manager Marco Silva in the coming days.
Mirallas and Olympiacos seem to have a love-hate relationship, and towards the end of last season it was reported he was almost being turfed out of the club. In April we covered claims from Greece that Mirallas ‘came as a saviour but leaves as a failure’, so this is a surprising twist.
