Aston Villa have received a boost in their pursuit of Anis Hadj Moussa, after his agent backed him for the Premier League move.
Earlier this week, Sport Witness relayed news of Aston Villa and Newcastle United wanting to sign the Feyenoord star. The clubs are in talks, and he will get to choose between the two this summer.
The Algeria international has further sparked rumours, after liking a post about Aston Villa wanting to sign him.
Aston Villa target wants summer move
Following these latest claims of Unai Emery’s side, Newcastle United and others, being keen, Maghreb Foot got in touch with his agent, Mohamed Dahman, for an update.
Anis Hadj Moussa joined the Eredivisie side in 2024 and played most games under Robin van Persie.
He shared a close relationship with the manager, who is no longer in charge of the Dutch club. Therefore, the representative says the 24-year-old wants to leave Feyenoord this summer.
“Anis Hadj Moussa will play for another team, God willing,” he said.
Al-Ahli and Al-Qadisiyah are also keen and have submitted tempting offers. However, the winger’s representative has ruled out a move to Saudi Arabia, without the outlet relaying his comments.
Dahman confirmed his client wants to try his luck in the Premier League, where Aston Villa and Newcastle United are keen.
He explained the attacker will decide about his future after Algeria’s World Cup campaign. That came to an end after Algeria lost to Switzerland in Round of 32 on Friday.

Algerian keen on Aston Villa
It looks like Anis Hadj Moussa favours the Villans over Newcastle United this summer.
A move to Villa Park will see the Algerian play in the Champions League, while Eddie Howe’s side haven’t qualified for Europe.
In July 2025, he signed a contract extension until 2030, and Transfermarkt now value him at €23m.
Last season, the Feyenoord star managed 14 goals and seven assists from 40 matches.
