Liverpool aren’t giving up on signing Bradley Barcola this summer and continue to pursue the Paris Saint-Germain star.

The Premier League side want to improve their attack and have him and PSG’s Ibrahim Maye on their list.

Last month, Sport Witness covered a report from France that Barcola has already agreed on to personal terms with Liverpool. An agreement with the Champions League winners is missing.

Stade Rennais will host the Paris club in the league later today. On Saturday, we relayed news Luis Enrique has left the attacking duo out of the squad for this clash.

RMC Sport now picks up on it and covers the latest on Liverpool’s efforts to sign Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye.

In fact, Luis Enrique has decided not to consider the duo until there’s more clarity on their situations. The window closes on September 1st, and it’ll be clear whether the duo will continue at Parc des Princes or move to Anfield.

The Merseyside club have made one offer for the France international. There’s no mention of a figure and PSG have already turned it down.

That hasn’t put off Andoni Iraola’s side, who are still keen on bringing the 23-year-old to Anfield.

PSG and Liverpool talks ongoing

Despite Luis Enrique’s side rejecting the opening bid from Liverpool, the discussions are ongoing between the two clubs for Bradley Barcola.

The expectation is for the Reds to return with an improved offer soon. There’s nothing to indicate the fee they intend to propose or about PSG’s response/demand.

Liverpool could also finalise 18-year-old Senegal international. The Ligue 1 winners are demanding €70m, and the English club have no intention of meeting their request for Ibrahim Mbaye.

With no immediate future in Paris, a move to another club can be ideal for the PSG duo. There will be developments if Liverpool table offer[s] for Barcola and/or Mabye in the coming days.
