Nottingham Forest are making a strong push and have stepped up their efforts to sign Fiorentina’s Dodô this summer.

Nottingham Forest have been in advanced negotiations with La Viola and are yet to reach an agreement.

Nottingham Forest continue to push
Viola News, who focus their coverage on the Italian club, provides fresh updates on the City Ground club’s pursuit.
The 27-year-old has been a regular since joining Fiorentina from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2022. He made 162 appearances, of which 47 were from last season, and is in his final year of contract.
Fiorentina have made him available in the market, to avoid losing the fullback for free in 2027.
The English club have been ‘working hard’ to acquire his signature and can offer him an escape route.
Nottingham Forest closing in on gap
The outlet’s title says Oliver Glasner’s side are ‘almost there’ and within the report, they state the Reds are ‘very close’ to reaching total agreement.
Dodô has agreed personal terms with the English club for a four-year contract. There’s no mention of the salary details.
The Premier League side have to find an agreement with Fiorentina, and this is where the issue lies.
La Viola are asking for €12m while Nottingham Forest are offering around €10m. There’s optimism the two clubs can close this ‘small gap’ of €2m, probably with easily achievable bonuses.
Therefore, Viola News states Nottingham Forest are edging closer towards finding a total agreement to sign the defender.
Dodô will reunite with his former Fiorentina teammate, Nikola Milenković, if he ends up at the City Ground.
