Atlético Nacional are playing the second leg of the Copa Libertadores semifinals on Wednesday, and after a fantastic campaign in the group stage, it’s actually hard to believe they managed to keep their form after the foreign interest in many of their players.

Some of them have already left, and some have already been sold but will stay until the end of the competition. And for those who haven’t been transferred yet, there’s the approach of several clubs. One of them is Marlos Moreno, who is said to be close to joining Manchester City.

The deal was revealed by the manager Reinaldo Rueda, who in the same week of such an important game, had to confirm the sale of his most important player was close.

“It’s very close, it was a decision made by his career managers and representatives”, he told the Colombian press (via El País). He also said he hopes the player “doesn’t lose sight of his objectives”.

The interest in Moreno has only grown during the South American competition. He was first linked to Santos, then Porto, Liverpool and finally Manchester City.
