There remains just a week left of the summer transfer window, and Leeds United are far from done in the market. There will be multiple incomings and outgoings at Elland Road in the final days of the season.

Several sagas have built, and there’s a new transfer track for the Premier League club.

Santi Aouna reveals that Leeds United are interested in RB Leipzig’s Conrad Harder. The Whites are joined by Galatasaray and Lazio, with the latter having made an offer.

Who is Conrad Harder?

The 21-year-old moved from Sporting CP to RB Leipzig in the summer 2025 transfer window. Playing mainly as a centre forward, also on the right, Conrad Harder scored four goals and contributed four assists in the 25/26 season.

RB Leipzig expected more when they brought the Dane in from Sporting, however, he’s started this season on a brighter note, with a goal on his one appearance.

Martín Demichelis, the Bundesliga club’s manager, isn’t counting on Harder this season.

Leeds United could get loan with option

Any move for Conrad Harder would be a gamble, given the youngster hasn’t kicked on yet. With that in mind, a loan with an option to buy is sensible. That protects Leeds United for a purchase obligation and also sets a price for the next summer window.

That’s what Lazio have offered, and would be the route Leeds United choose. The Italians are ahead as it stands, however, that’s simply because they’ve made the offer.
