One name on sporting director Giovanni Manna’s shortlist is that of Marseille’s Amine Gouiri.
Even on this front, things are unlikely to be easy. This is because of Tottenham as the Frenchman is ‘highly regarded’ by De Zerbi’s side. Spurs appear as a threat to the Partenopei, who also like Chelsea’s Guiu.
The Spaniard is seen as a target who won’t disturb the current squad setup. The Blues value him at €15m and Napoli are considering whether to make a formal move or not.
Gouiri remains a possible target, however, Tottenham are presented as a threat.

If Spurs do end up with Gakpo after Savinho and Marmoush, they won’t need another attacker. But Gouiri is someone who could be a possible signing at some point in the future.
He has become a reliable goalscorer in Ligue 1 over the last six years and is still only 26. The Algerian already has two goals in one league game this season.
