The Frenchman has been an impressive addition for the Italian side, who secured him for free in January 2025. This has led to several Serie A clubs to pursuing his signature but nothing has materialised.
Earlier this summer, Sport Witness covered Leeds United interest in the centre-back. They made initial contact but never made a decisive move.
Now, Crystal Palace have been handed the chance to do just that.

Crystal Palace remain interested and have presented a €25m offer to land him.
This hasn’t proved enough, with Udinese currently demanding €30m for a sale. There is a clear €5m gap between the parties, with the Friulian club open to a sale. Anything they earn will go down as a pure capital gain, as Solet joined them for free.
