Arsenal are among the clubs pursuing Club Brugge star Nicolò Tresoldi and are planning to make advances during the winter market.
The Premier League winners have already signed Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge in July. Arsenal want to raid them again to sign the striker to further improve their attack next year.
Tresoldi moved to Belgium in 2025 and impressed in his debut season, managing 23 goals and nine assists. He had opportunities to change clubs in the summer window, but the Jupiler Pro League side didn’t entertain offers.
Their decision has paid off as the 22-year-old has been the standout player this season, scoring 12 goals from 14 matches. This includes two hat-tricks in the last three matches.

Last week, Sport Witness covered a report from Germany explaining that the Gunners are seriously keen on signing him. Sources close to Nicolò Tresoldi ruled out a January move while the situation can be different for next summer.
Tuesday’s print edition of Het Belang van Limburg picks up on that and covers more about Arsenal and Club Brugge’s stance.
The Germany U21 international has a contract until 2029, and Transfermarkt value him at €35m. The Jupiler Pro League’s record sale is €40m, from Christos Tzolis’ move to the Emirates. Club Brugge, as per the Belgian media, want the frontman to break this record.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Atlético Madrid have sent scouts to follow the Belgian club’s fixtures. The Gunners seem to be ahead and are preparing to make an offer to secure his services in January.
Club Brugge standing firm
The newspaper states: ‘Will it be €40, 50 or €60m? The question is no longer whether Nicolò Tresoldi will fetch a record amount, but when and how much.’
This is a clear indication the attacker’s exit will be a record sale, but it won’t take place in the winter market.
That’s because Club Brugge have no plan to sell him until the end of this season for sporting reasons.
An unnamed board member told HBVL: “There is and will be no price for Nicolò [for the next window].”
To sum it up, Arsenal are preparing a bid but Club Brugge have no plan to sell him in the next window.
HBVL ends the report by stating: ‘But are Club Brugge, even with the revenues of recent years, immune to a crazy offer of, say, €70m?’
After Tresoldi ruled out a move, the Belgian club are taking a firm stance for January.
