As Italian outlet Calcio Mercato today features a long piece about the future of Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, they name Tottenham Hotspur as one of the potential destinations for him.

The article starts by explaining all the physical drama the player has been living, as he was barely able to play this season and is set to miss the World Cup in Qatar this year.

Regarding his contract with the Blues, which expires at the end of the season, it’s said Kante would like to stay at the club.

The problem is that he already had an agreement with Roman Abramovich for a three-year deal, and now Todd Boehly only offers him two.

That’s one of the reasons why other clubs start to look at his situation, with Tottenham among them.

It’s said Antonio Conte is an ‘admirer’ of the player, as they worked together at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, PSG, Barcelona, Arsenal and Juventus are named as other sides who are interested in him.

Those clubs, along with Tottenham, ‘will have to cross their fingers’ hoping that Kante can find his fitness soon enough, as he no longer appears to be the tireless star that he was at Leicester and during his early days at Chelsea.
