For the past few weeks, the Italian media have pushed forward Tottenham Hotspur as one of the contenders to sign Radu Drăgușin. The Premier League side are now joined by Nottingham Forest in the chase for the Genoa star.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who state there could be an auction for the 21-year-old in January.

It’s claimed the Serie A side don’t want to part ways with the defender for less than €25m. That’s because of the pressure from English clubs, where Nottingham Forest and Tottenham are in the picture to sign him.

The report further adds the Premier League duo have ‘already made contact’ with Genoa over a potential deal for the centre-back.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are set to rival Spurs for the Romania international’s signature. Corriere add these two clubs are ready to burn competition from the Italian sides like AC Milan, Napoli and Atalanta, who have been following the player for a while.

It’s not mentioned if Nottingham Forest or Tottenham are willing to meet Genoa’s request for Drăgușin next month.
