With Manchester United scouting all big games that take place in Portugal, they certainly wouldn’t miss the Europa League clash between Porto and Lyon last night.

The Red Devils’ visit to the Estádio do Dragão is reported by newspaper O Jogo, who has no clear information on who the emissaries from Old Trafford were watching.

It was Lyon who managed to come away with an advantage from the first leg of the round-of-16, as they left Porto with a 1-0 win, due to a goal scored by midfielder Lucas Paquetá.

The Brazilian was one of those responsible for such an important result away from home, with great help from a couple of his teammates: goalkeeper Anthony Lopes and winger Karl Toko Ekambi.

A couple of weeks ago, Manchester United were linked to defender Castello Lukeba, who had a safe performance in the game.

There were few positives from Porto to see last night. The main one isn’t a surprise anymore, at it was Vitinha’s performance. The midfielder, who’s doing pretty well for the Dragons this season, was their most creative weapon for the 90 minutes.

Even though Manchester United have scouted Porto several times this season, we’re still to see the Red Devils actually being linked to one of their players. It’s fair to say that at this stage, if they are looking for someone at the Dragons’ squad, they probably already know who it is.

Last weekend, we’d already seen the Premier League side in a list of clubs who saw the ‘monstrous’ performance from Vitinha in the league clash against Paços de Ferreira.
