Amid the big rumours linking Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat to a Manchester United move, it seems clear that the mood for him at the Serie A side isn’t the best.

Italian newspaper Corriere Fiorentino today has a piece about the player’s situation. They claim he’s not training with the squad, following a ‘different program’ and that’s an issue that manager Vincenzo Italiano has to sort.

Amrabat ‘cannot wait to leave’ Fiorentina, and following the club’s block of a January move, he now expects to have the promise of a transfer this summer fulfilled.

The newspaper makes it clear that Manchester United seemed ‘ready to sink’, but are still to place their offer on their table.

It’s claimed that despite the ‘lots of talk’, no one arrived with something close to the €30m request made by Fiorentina.

Corriere Fiorentino explains it’s ‘very difficult’ to imagine Amrabat playing for La Viola in the upcoming season, but with the situation ‘wide open’, there’s nothing definitive yet.

All reports from Italy have been making it clear that Amrabat wants the move, but Manchester United must arrive with their attempt to get this transfer done, or this standstill will continue.
