On Tuesday, we carried a report from Tuttosport explaining that Leeds United have not hidden their interest in signing Torino’s Saša Lukić.

It was also stated the Serie A side would want no less than €15m to part ways with the 26-year-old.

Leeds United’s interest in the Serbia international is discussed further by other outlets in Italy.

Faced with the possibility of losing the player in January, Toro.it explain Torino must start looking for his replacement. Leeds and AS Roma are tagged.

It’s explained Jesse Marsch’s side have a ‘desire to make an attempt’ to bring Lukić to the Premier League and the potential move to England makes the player’s ‘mouth water’.

Over at Calciomercato, they say his adventure at the Turin club is ‘getting closer to the end credits’. There is ‘indeed Leeds’ in the mix, but at the moment, the Whites have not carried out any negotiations to sign the Serbian.

Lukić is with the national team at the 2022 World Cup and Leeds will closely observe him in action for his country in Qatar.

If these reports are to be believed, the signs indicate the midfielder is expected to leave Torino. Whether it will be for Elland Road, Roma or another club remains to be seen.
