Leeds United and Barcelona have now ‘sealed’ the transfer of Raphinha, according to reports from the Catalan media.

Mundo Deportivo writes there’s now a full agreement for the winger, who’s moving for €58m plus €7m in bonuses.

It’s once again said the player has had a deal in place with the Catalan side for weeks, previously agreed by his agent Deco, having accepted a smaller salary than he’d make at the Premier League sides who wanted him. It’s said he ‘only’ wanted to play for Barcelona.

The Whites reportedly had bigger bids from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, who offered as much as €75m for the transfer. However, given the player’s insistence on moving to the La Liga giants, they waited until a reasonable agreement was found with Barça.

With the deal now said to be, Mundo Deportivo claims the Brazilian is set to travel to Barcelona to have his medical examinations and sign a five-year contract with the club. After missing Leeds United’s pre-season tour, he’s now set to join Xavi’s squad which is flying to the United States on Saturday afternoon.
