Even though it’s been a while since the last rumours about Fulham’s chase for Ola Aina, there’s more exciting news now coming from Italy.

A report from Torino Granata claims there’s a ‘farewell’ going on for the 26-year-old, since he has no plans of renewing his contract with the club.

The website writes that the defender, who’s leaving as a free agent, hopes to return to the Premier League this summer.

That’s the golden chance for Fulham, who, according to the Italian media, are interested in having him back at the club.

Ainda had already played for the Whites in the 2010/21 season, when on loan from Torino, and now has the chance to move to Craven Cottage as a free agent.

In mid-April, the Italian reports had been claiming Fulham were the ‘most insistent’ club in the race for the player, with updates then claiming he was ‘close’ to Fulham.

Now with his departure from Torino nearly confirmed, it really seems like there’s a clear route for this comeback to happen in the coming weeks.
