Spanish newspaper Marca has an update this afternoon on David De Gea’s situation.

Following his exit from Manchester United at the end of his contract, the goalkeeper is still to find a new club.

According to the report, De Gea’s priority is to stay in Europe, and it’s suggested Bayern Munich and Inter Milan could make moves, and that shall impact on his options.

The former Manchester United star, however, doesn’t rule out the possibility of moving to Saudi Arabia. It’s said there’s an offer ‘on the table’ and he already knows how much they’re wiling to pay him.

There seems to be no rush for a decision, though. Marca highlight that De Gea ‘has a plan’, and he doesn’t want to make the wrong choice. His status in European football means he’s not keen on choosing a club from the second tier.

Manchester United took a while to decide about the Spaniard’s renewal and that may be the reason why he hasn’t had advanced talks with a new club… although it would have been expected he’d have sorted out his future by now.

Despite the short time until the start of the season, he’s remaining patient and waiting for the right offer.
