Sevilla are eyeing a move for Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski this summer, if Spurs don’t sign him on a permanent basis from Juventus.

That’s according to Fichajes, who say the Spanish side have had the Sweden international ‘on their books for some time now’.

They explain that Kulusevski was one of Tottenham’s star signings for this current season when he arrived on loan from Juventus at the end of the January transfer window last year.

He’s now performed to the expected standard, though, which has fuelled rumours they will try to avoid signing him on a permanent basis in the summer transfer window.

That could give him the ‘opportunity’ to move to La Liga, where Sevilla would be more than happy to sign him if given the chance.

They are intent on strengthening their squad for next year and see Kulusevski as a player who would be an important part of their attacking options.

One problem is that they would face competition for his signature, with the player having earned admirers at Tottenham despite his season not being a complete success.

The price Juventus would ask for him could also be a problem, which is why they would likely look for a loan deal until the end of the season, perhaps with an option to buy included.

Whether Kulusevski would interested in the switch is up for debate, but Sevilla could offer him the minutes he wants and hasn’t had at Tottenham, a potentially deciding factor.
