Leeds United defender Robin Koch has hailed their transfer business so far this summer, believing the club have ‘done a great job’.

Jesse Marsch’s side have been busy rebuilding the squad after narrowly avoiding relegation last season.

While they have sold star Kalvin Phillips’ to Manchester City, and Raphinha is expected to depart also, they have not sat on their laurels in terms of replacing them.

Brenden Aaronson, Luis Sinisterra, Tyler Adams, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, and Darko Gyabi have arrived already, with Leeds spending £95.08m to bring them to Elland Road.

Several of the arrivals are players who have already played under Leeds boss Marsch, with Aaronson, Adams and Kristensen all playing under him earlier in their careers.

That means they will be well adapted to life under the American, leading to hopes they will all hit the ground running next season.

Koch is certainly impressed by what he has seen from Adams, hailing him after watching him in training this week.

“Of course. I am happy about every reinforcement,” he told BILD.

“The club has done a great job. Tyler, in particular, has often shown what he can do in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.

“He’s a top player, and from what I can tell from the first few days, he’s also a top guy. He and the other newcomers will strengthen our team enormously.”
