Despite the Turkish transfer window being open until September 15th, Galatasaray are in a race against time to sign Tanguy Ndombélé and Davinson Sánchez.

That’s because they want to include the pair in their squad for the Champions League, with that deadline being Monday night.

There have been a mixture of claims regarding the player’s arrival in Istanbul, with some reporting he was arriving around 8pm local time, while others state he is already there, like RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.

Taking to Twitter, he reveals that the Tottenham player has ‘already passed the first part’ of his medical in Istanbul, with the player edging ever closer to his Spurs exit.

While there might be some confusion regarding his current whereabouts and what is going on, more details are emerging about the deal itself.

Hawkins adds some insight into the amounts, as he corroborates other reports that it is a loan with an option to buy.

What is new is the amount of this clause, as Galatasaray would be able to make the move permanent with a €15m payment to Tottenham, at which point the player would be on a three-year contract with the Turkish side.
