Chelsea player ‘does not want to continue in PL’ – Has been offered to another club

On Monday, we covered claims from Italy that Joringho’s agent has been spotted in Barcelona.

That representative, Joao Santos, regularly speaks to the Italian media about the Chelsea player, and therefore it wouldn’t be too great a leap to feel the claim was planted.

Inevitably those claims have already reached the Catalan media, and Tuesday’s edition of Sport has the midfielder on their front page. Inside it’s claimed Jorginho’s agent has offered the player to Barcelona, and it’s not the first time such a claim has been made.

According to Sport, the Italy international ‘does not want to continue in the Premier League’ and is therefore looking for a way out.

As we explained on Monday, there’s a chance this is all a ploy to put pressure on Chelsea over a renewal. The same could be true with N’Golo Kante, who is also mentioned again.

On Monday, France’s Le10Sport said the midfielder would like to stay at Stamford Bridge but is looking for a longer contract than the Blues will likely offer.

Still, it was thought negotiations could find a solution.
