Despite Corriere dello Sport describing Fiorentina’s Igor as ‘one of the most disappointing’ pieces of Vincenzio Italiano’s squad last season, Fulham remain interested in signing him.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Craven Cottage for a while now, as Marco Silva looks to add some depth to his defence ahead of next season.
Fulham surprised many by their good form in their return to the Premier League during the last campaign, and the Portuguese manager will be wanting to improve on the 10th spot they managed to clinch.
Conceding fewer goals will be key to that aim, and the signing of Igor could help towards that, as the player ‘seems to have his bags in hand’ ahead of an exit from Fiorentina this summer.
