Leaving Inter over the summer in hope of finding himself a club that could grant him some time on the pitch, Mouhamed Belkheir decided to swap Milan for Brescia.

Since then, the 20-year-old has featured in a few youth games, but has yet to make an appearance for the first-team despite appearing on their bench twice in the early stages of the season.

However, Foot Mercato in France are reporting that this hasn’t stopped a number of sides from being interested in the forward, who is under contract with the Serie B side until 2021, with Aston Villa among the interested parties.

The Villains are joined by a number of Ligue 1 sides likes Caen, Amiens and Strasbourg, with some of the named parties having asked for information, while the player has been offered to others.

It isn’t revealed which group Aston Villa are a part of, but it is said that Dean Smith’s side, as well as the others, have been ‘studying Belkheir’s profile’, according to a source close to the dossier.

This kind of stuff isn’t uncommon, especially with young players, so we wouldn’t get too excited about it just yet, but if there’s report of movement from Villa Park, we’ll be sure to let you know.
