German magazine SportBild report that Arsenal have returned to the race to sign Sead Kolasinac. Several Premier League clubs have been linked to the Schalke player, with Everton and Manchester City the strongest links recently.

SportBild say Arsenal made an approach in February, and have now returned again, although it’s thought Manchester City have the ‘best chance’. for the purpose of the German report, it’s stated Manchester City are expected to battle for titles both domestically and in Europe.

Serie A club AC Milan are interested too, but their move will depend on their takeover finally being completed. There’s still a chance Kolasinac could remain at Schalke, with that Screen Shot 2017-04-12 at 13.08.25being the ’emotional’ choice.

It’s quite possible Arsene Wenger could see Kolasinac as an upgrade on both Keiran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal, and Pep Guardiola needs to add a couple of fullbacks during the next window.

However, Kolasinac has mainly played on the left wing for Schalke this season, and that could be where he now sees his position. As well as money and the chance to win trophies, it could be an important factor when Kolasinac makes a decision.
