That’s why they refused to sell Barış Alper Yılmaz to West Ham and others in the summer. At the end of the window there were strong attempts from Saudi to buy him, and the player was keen. That was also knocked back.
Galatasaray are aware Barış Alper Yılmaz is keen on a move sooner rather than later. They won’t completely block that but the price is going up.
Friday’s edition of Sabah covers interest from West Ham and others. It’s stated a €35m Saudi offer was rejected for the winger. Galatasaray want €50m, and they believe someone could pay that in January.
The 25-year-old played well against Liverpool and won the decisive penalty. Whether West Ham would pay €50m is questionable, and €40m may be enough.
