Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has a verbal agreement in place with Trabzonspor and is now pressuring Spurs to accept their offer.

Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu reports that the Brazilian wants to leave Tottenham and now has Türkiye in his sights.

The follows up his own earlier post, explaining that Trabzonspor have made an offer for the Tottenham. In that post, he explained that the player is ‘warm’ to the offer. However, there is no agreement with Tottenham as yet. Contacts were continuing on that front.

Those contacts now appear to have progressed to the point that Richarlison has verbally agreed a deal with Trabzonspor. He is, reportedly, pressuring Tottenham to accept the deal on the table.

Tottenham exit wanted

He is seemingly keen to leave Tottenham as soon as possible after missing out on a return to Everton on deadline day.

The Toffees were keen to bring him back to Merseyside but saw the deal collapse over a disagreement between Tottenham and Richarlison. He then lashed out at claims on social media. That, ultimately, also saw Iliman Ndiaye head to Manchester City.

The Brazilian, though, does not appear to be a part of Tottenham’s plans moving forwards. With only a handful of transfer windows now remaining open, it seems he now has his focus on Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor hunt

Tottenham

The Turkish side are clearly hunting for a new striker and seem to be solely focused on failed Everton targets.

Alongside Richarlison, a report earlier today stated that the Super Lig side had opened negotiations with Monaco for Folarin Balogun. He also missed out on a deadline day move to Everton after walking away from the club at the last minute on deadline day.

Now he could be set for a move to Türkiye too. In fact, it could be a fight between him and Richarlison for the move to Trabzonspor. With the Tottenham man pushing, it remains to be seen who wins.
