Back in December, Sport Witness closely monitored the situation of Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who is of interest to Inter Milan.
Gazzetta dello Sport were confident that the goalkeeper wants to leave Spurs in the summer. He was growing tired of the drama in London and the Nerazzurri saw him as a replacement for Guglielmo Vicario.
Inter Milan aren’t the only Serie A club keen on the Tottenham player.
Today’s Gazzetta reports Juventus have joined the race, amidst doubts about Michele Di Gregorio’s future in Turin. The Bianconeri previously had the ex-Empoli player on their shortlist and his name has resurfaced.
Should Juventus be presented with the chance to sign the goalkeeper on a favourable deal, they will jump at the chance.
At Inter, Vicario is ‘more than just an idea’ and is their first-choice if Sommer departs. The Switzerland international has been quite disappointing this season and replacing him has become a priority.
Tottenham asking price likely to be issue

Gazzetta add details about the 29-year-old’s stance over his Spurs future. He is ‘happy at Tottenham’ and is enjoying life in London but would gladly return to Italy in the summer.
The only problem is likely posed by Thomas Frank’s side. As far as the Italian slant is concerned, Vicario would cost €25m and even that is considered too much. Serie A clubs would be looking for a cheaper deal and it’s unclear how that would go down with Tottenham.
There is no doubt in Italy that Vicario, if given a chance, would return to the country.
