Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle’s agent Kees Vos has shared his anger regarding allegations against his client.

Earlier this month, the Premier League side appointed Jaissle as their new manager, after Eddie Howe stepped down on July 31st.

Newcastle United activated a release clause to get him from Al-Hilal, a club he joined in July 2023.

Saudi journalist Walid Al-Faraj accused Matthias Jaissle of securing a commission from Matteo Dams’ sale to Club Brugge.

Winwin contacted the German’s representative, Kees Vos, for a response.

Al-Hilal signed the left-back from PSV Eindhoven in January 2025, when the current Newcastle United manager was in charge.

The Belgian played 38 matches under Jaissle before securing a move to Club Brugge on August 22nd.

Al-Faraj accused Jaissle of receiving a €1m commission from Dams’ sale to the Belgian club, even though this transfer took place over two weeks after the coach completed a move to St James’ Park.

Newcastle boss’ agent critical of Saudi media

Kees Vos manages both Matteo Dams and Matthias Jaissle. The agent has responded to Walid Al-Faraj’s bold claim and dismissed it as “baseless allegations” against the Magpies boss.

“We categorically reject the allegations levelled against Matthias Jaissle in the Saudi media today. These allegations are completely baseless and cause grave concern,” he said.

“Matthias Jaissle has always upheld professionalism, integrity, and respect throughout his career. It is important that serious accusations of this nature are not presented as facts without credible evidence.

“Publishing allegations unsupported by evidence can cause serious and unjustified damage to a person’s reputation and professional standing; responsible journalism requires reliance on facts, not speculation or insinuations.

“Matthias Jaisle strongly rejects any suggestion that he has committed any wrongdoing and reserves all his rights regarding these allegations.”

The 38-year-old officially started his Newcastle United career with a 2-2 draw against Liverpool on Sunday. The Magpies came close to securing all three points before Dominik Szoboszlai’s late penalty.
