Manchester City have identified Palmeiras winger Allan Elias as a potential replacement for Savinho.
Journalist Santi Aouna reports that Manchester City have their eye on the 22-year-old as Savinho could be set to join Tottenham Hotspur.
The journalist reports that in anticipation of the ‘likely departure’ of Savinho this summer, Manchester City have ‘moved forward’ with their plans to recruit the Palmeiras winger.
The indication is that a move is already progressing and Manchester City will accelerate once Savinho departs. Savinho is set to sign for Tottenham, potentially alongside teammate Omar Marmoush.
Premier League interest
Elias, often referred to simply as Allan, is a product of Palmeiras youth system. He’s already made 95 appearances in their first team, with nine goals and 11 assists in those games.
He also managed 20 goals and four assists in 54 games for their U20 side. As a result, he has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League over the last year.
Brighton were the first to be linked in September 2025, while Newcastle entered the picture in November. The majority of reports about his future have been centred on a potential move to the Magpies since.
Those reports continued in April when an official bid was on the table. But they have surprisingly fallen away while Newcastle have focused on younger player this summer.
Manchester City waiting
The latest to be linked are Aston Villa. Reports at the end of last month indicated that they were making bids but needed to up them to get a deal done.
Manchester City, meanwhile, have been working behind the scenes on a potential deal for the youngster.
For now, it all depends on Savinho. When he departs for Tottenham, then it seems Enzo Maresca and co are ready to move and replace him with his compatriot.
