Norwich City striker Mohamed Touré is being offered around in Portugal, with Porto the latest club to receive his name.
Wednesday’s print editions of A Bola and O Jogo bring essentially the same information about the 22-year-old.
Touré has been linked with a move to Portugal over the past few days. Sporting were among the clubs mentioned in the earlier speculation. There is now something more concrete on that topic.
Touré offered to Porto

A Bola say Touré was “offered” to Porto as they look at options for their attack. O Jogo put it slightly differently, saying the Australia international was “suggested” to the Dragons.
Neither newspaper indicates who has been putting the Norwich City player’s name forward.
What they agree on is Porto’s response. They aren’t interested in taking things any further at this stage.
A Bola say there have been no moves from the Portuguese club to explore a potential deal. O Jogo go further, stating Porto won’t make any approach to even understand the conditions required for a transfer.
Name circulating in Portugal
Sporting had also been linked with Touré in recent days. Reports suggested the Norwich forward was one of the possibilities for the Lisbon club in case Luis Suárez leaves.
Portuguese information subsequently played that down, with manager Rui Borges’ side not looking at alternatives for their attack now. So can Sporting effectively be crossed off the list as well.

There is no suggestion in recent reports that Norwich City themselves are actively trying to sell Touré. What we do know is that someone is presenting the Australian as a transfer possibility in Portugal.
Touré has started the season well for Norwich, with one goal and one assist from their opening two matches. Of course he was also part of Australia’s squad at the 2026 World Cup.
For now, Porto and Sporting have decided there is nothing to pursue. The wider picture around Touré is more interesting, with his name clearly doing the rounds in Portugal during the final weeks of the window.
