Galatasaray will face tough competition from Liverpool in the race to sign Crystal Palace‘s Ismaïla Sarr this summer.
The Istanbul club have been working on signing the forward and Liverpool have already joined the race.
He’s keen on leaving and refused to train for two days prior to Crystal Palace’s league loss to Everton last weekend.
Three days ago, Sport Witness covered a report from Turkey that there’s a €10m gap between Crystal Palace and Galatasaray. Their failure to close the signing has allowed Liverpool to enter the race.
Liverpool already made attempt

Senegalese journalist Khadim Diakhaté took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to cover the latest about the Reds.
Crystal Palace rejected Liverpool’s initial £50m [€58.4m] for Ismaïla Sarr.
Andoni Iraola’s side are looking at the 28-year-old as an option for attack, after ruling out a move for Brighton & Hove Albion’s Yankuba Minteh.
Galatasaray have seen Crystal Palace reject two bids and are still in the picture to sign him.
New offer from Liverpool not ruled out
Khadim Diakhaté shares more on this case for Senegal’s D Sports. The Reds are insisting on signing the player, despite Crystal Palace rejecting their opening bid.
The Premier League side want to strengthen their attack and ‘have not given up’ on the Senegal international.
Liverpool have already gathered information about the conditions to sign Ismaïla Sarr. The outlet adds their ‘second bid could come in the next few hours’.
The operation remains complicated because the Eagles want to retain him. This may be a negotiating tactic from Pierre Sage’s side to get a higher fee from his sale.
Diakhaté says: ‘The situation therefore remains open and could see further developments before the transfer window closes.’
Liverpool or Galatasaray have to make an offer that’s enough to tempt Crystal Palace to sign Sarr.
