Despite a lot of talk about Stefano Sensi heading over the Leicester City, there is a player in the Foxes squad that would suffer from his arrival.
That man is Dennis Praet, who hasn’t had the best of time since joining the English club from Sampdoria, and a transfer away from the King Power Stadium never feels far for the Belgian.
The same applies in this transfer window, as the player remains a target for Torino, according to La Stampa, having already played there on loan in the past during the 2021-22 season.
He remains ‘on the bench’ at Leicester under Enzo Maresca these days, and he is reportedly ‘ready to get on a plane’ to Turin ‘at the first call’.
The 29-year-old has only made six appearances in all competitions this season, five of which have come in the Championship, and he clearly believes he would get more time in Turin.
Despite this, he still wouldn’t be a starter, as La Stampa make it clear he would arrive as a ‘deputy’ for Nikola Vlasic.
Either way, even that seems to be more enticing than what he has to deal with at Leicester these days.
