Leeds United are one of a number of clubs showing interest in Karlo Šimić.

The Premier League club join Atlético Madrid and Juventus in being keen on the 18-year-old, so any effort to sign him won’t be easy. According to Croatian newspaper 24Sata, Leeds United and the Spanish and Italian giants are all scouting Šimić.

Born in Hamburg, Šimić has chosen to represent Croatia at international level, although he’s still able to change when he reaches the seniors. The young forward started his training with St Pauli, in Hamburg, before switching to Wolfsburg.

He hasn’t made it to the first team with the Bundesliga club, instead representing their U19s at this stage. Šimić has played 13 matches this season, across cup and league, and scored 10 goals.

For Croatia, he appeared in nine U19 internationals in 2025, scoring three goals in the process.

24Sata don’t have much more on the interest coming from Leeds United. The Croatian newspaper just point out the Whites, along with Atlético Madrid and Juventus, are interested.

Given this information is coming from Croatia it’s likely source from the player’s camp. In addition, given the player’s age and current level, this would be a long term Leeds United bet.
