Anderlecht’s Kara Mbodji is attracting interest from Fulham, if reports are to be believed.

Het Laatste Nieuws claims the Cottagers ‘want’ the Senegalese international and the Belgium club are working to find a solution.

The clubs in France and Turkey have registered their interest in the 28-year-old through intermediaries, but the English side’s interest is the ‘most concrete’ one.

A move to Craven Cottage seems to be the ‘ideal scenario’ because they can meet the Jupiter Pro League outfit’s asking price of €5m and also, the player dreams of playing in the Premier League.

The transfer window in England closes on August 9th and if Anderlecht allow the former Genk man to join Slaviša Jokanovic’s side, they will be able to quickly offload him.

The report also mentions Leicester City and Crystal Palace were looking at the option of signing him in the past, but his employer’s €10m asking price and problem with his knee saw them end their interest. HLN claims Mbodji is ‘completely fit’ and is training ‘effortlessly’ for the last few days.
