Everton’s Beto has been linked with an exit from the club over the last few months.

Roma were previously mentioned as a candidate to land him and so were Torino.

It now seems as if it is the Turin club is making in-roads to land the striker, who has started just once in the Premier League for Everton this season.

TuttoSport today have reported that Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati is now ‘tightening contacts’ to sign the Portuguese forward.

While TuttoSport stated last week the Merseyside club are open to a loan deal, the outlet have changed their stance today.

They say Everton no longer want a dry loan deal and they’ve made this clear with Torino. It’s claimed the Premier League side now want an obligation to buy of €16m in any loan agreement.

Manager Paolo Vanoli is said to be pushing for the move and Beto is also keen on the transfer, with the 26-year-old’s entourage having asked Everton for a move.

The move has been described as ‘difficult’ but not impossible.
