Bayern Munich’s young star Lennart Karl has ended up on the transfer radar of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, and these clubs will have a tough task to bring him to the Premier League.
The 18-year-old’s rise at Bayern Munich has convinced Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United to follow him.
He came up through the ranks of the Bavarian club’s youth system and impressed for their U17 and U19s. The attacking midfielder made his first team debut during the Club World Cup in June 2025.
Since then, he scored 10 goals and contributed 10 assists from 2,406 minutes from 51 matches. This season, he has a goal and two assists from 11 appearances.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United suitors

The youngster’s rise at Bayern Munich helped him make his debut for Germany U21s last year and the senior team in March. He suffered a muscle injury in June and only returned to action in August.
This saw Lennart Karl miss the World Cup while Jürgen Klopp included him in his first list for October’s fixtures. His displays haven’t gone unnoticed in England, and Saturday’s print edition of Bild covers the Premier League trio’s interest.
Last October, Sport Witness covered a report from Germany explaining that Mikel Arteta’s side had already looked at him.
The Gunners’ interest isn’t new and they’ve joined Liverpool and Manchester United in chasing the player. Bild makes it clear it’s their own information that these three English clubs are closely monitoring Karl.
Signing complicated for PL trio
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are in the picture to sign the German attacker, who can also operate as a right winger. However, these clubs haven’t made an offer or further advances so far.
In February, Lennart Karl signed a contract until 2029, and Transfermarkt now value him at €60m. There has been no change in his value since last December.
Bild reports the Bundesliga winners have no intention of letting the attacker leave. Their honorary president, Uli Hoeneß, recently backed it up.
“I intend to have a serious conversation with him (Karl). He is far from being a superstar; young players need humility. Comparisons with Olise are obviously not good for him; there’s still a world of difference between them,” he said.
This would make it challenging for Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United to convince Vincent Kompany’s side. If there’s a sale, Bayern Munich would demand way more than his current value of €60m. Besides this, they also have to tempt Karl to accept a move to England.
