Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Daniel Podence is reportedly on his way out of the club.

According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, the 27-year-old will be moving to Al-Duhail.

It’s claimed that the Qatari club will be paying Wolves around €6m for the winger.

The report says the player and his family should travel in the coming days for him to have a medical and sign a contract with his new club.

Podence joined Wolves in a €19.6m move from Olympiacos back in January 2020. During his time at the Molineux, he’s scored 16 goals and contributed nine assists in 105 appearances.

The winger was a regular starter at the club last season, but wasn’t even used by Gary O’Neil, and it seemed like his departure was a matter of time.

Wolves also just announced the signing of Enso Gonzalez, who plays in the same position as Podence.

Just this summer, Al-Duhail have already signed Isaac Lihadji from Sunderland and Ibrahima Diallo from Southampton. Reports claim that Philippe Coutinho is leaving Aston Villa to join the Qatari side as well.
